Where We Live
We live in the mid-sized city of Alexandria, Virginia, a southern suburb of metro Washington, DC. In my first week here a friend asked me how I liked Alexandria, and I said, “I’m really liking it. In fact, I’m loving it.” Traffic is not very pleasant here, but that’s okay with us. We don’t have to use the superhighways, and I take the bus to work, so traffic just is not a big deal.
We live on the 10th floor of a highrise with a great view of the Washington Monument, seven miles away.
I graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio way back in the 1980s. I’m so old!
