Where We Live
We live in the small-to-mid-sized metropolis of Dayton, Ohio. This poor town is dying fast, and it’s not fun watching it happen. However, one good thing is that because so many people are fleeing, there’s hardly any traffic! Here are a few pics of Dayton.
I graduated from the University of Dayton way back in the 80s! OMG I’m old.
The Wright brothers invented the airplane here in Dayton, and the National Museum of the United States Air Force is located here at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This is also the famed location of Hanger 18, where they brought the alien bodies found at the UFO crash site in Roswell, NM in 1947. I’ve been to the base a few times, but can’t find the bodies. The museum is the #1 tourist destination in Ohio. I wasn’t surprised to learn this since every time I’ve been there the place has been packed, but even when it’s busy it’s a great place to go.
