TMI Thursday

My boy Sean over at Just a Jeep Guy posts questions and answers every Thursday, and invites bloggers to participate by doing the same. (He previews the questions beforehand so that bloggers can post them on Thursday). So here I go.

WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN…

…you are sick with the flu?
I’ve only had the flu once in my life, in 1978 when the Russian Flu was sweeping the planet. The only thing that would have made me feel better during those seven days of hell would have been a cold gun and some hot lead.

…you are in a bad mood?
A cup of hot spiced cider goes a long way towards curing any foul mood.

…you are alone?
The internet is a great cure for loneliness.

…you are sad?
It’s hard for me to think of anything for this one. Not alcohol. Not food. Not drugs. Not porn. I think starting a new project perks me up.

…you are mad?
I try to put things in perspective. Whatever I’m mad at can seem so small and insignificant when compared to other problems that I or Greg or my family or the world has. Once I see this I tend to forget why I was mad.

…you are frustrated?
Talking about my frustration to someone, usually Greg, gets me through it.

…you are angry?
I tend to lose my temper, and the results can be… well, let’s just say ‘less than optimal’, but the release it gives me sure does make me feel better. After a moment I can compose myself and be calm again.

Bonus Question

…you are horny?
An orgasm of course. Orgasms are like strips of bacon… life is better when you have one. And I think I need to put that little bit of originality into a greeting card and sell it ;-)

in response to your bonus question – HELLZ YEAH!

why just yesterday I gave myself 2 (orgasms, that is; not greeting cards)!

The greeting card idea is a good one. Inspired comparison, bacon and orgasms.

Since “angry” and “mad” are synonyms, is there really a difference?

I think that’s a question for my boy Sean, who is asking himself that same question now.

good question, Mark
