TMI Thursday

My boy Sean over at Just a Jeep Guy posts questions and answers every Thursday, and invites bloggers to participate by doing the same. (He previews the questions beforehand so that bloggers can post them on Thursday). So here I go.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Do you travel or stay local? Family or Friends? Host or Guest?
This year we are staying local. It will be our first time alone in our 19+ years together.

Parade: Love it? Leave it? Never let it go?
I look forward to watching the Macy’s parade every year, even with the banal banter of the TV hosts.

Favorite Food?
Turkey and dressing. I especially love my mother-in-law’s dressing made with Italian sausage. I’m going to really miss it this year.

Favorite holiday movie or do you watch football?
It’s a football day. One of only three for me. The others are New Year’s Day and Superbowl Sunday.

If you do holiday decorations, for which holiday and when?
We don’t decorate for any holiday. Not because we don’t want to, but because we were born without the gay decorating gene.

Bonus Question

People traditionally give thanks on Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?
This year I’m thankful for my uncle, Sam.

Sounds like a great holiday for you! And hit up the MIL for the stuffing recipe! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I’m at my brother’s house, my other brother will be showing up soon, so with my SIL’s family, there will be 12 of us eating here today! Turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, salad, I’ve probably missed a few things!

I hope the two of you have a wonderful day!
Peace <3

Happy Thanksgiving Cubby.
1.Went to Sis’s at the shore about 45 miles. Just Leon, Sis and me. I cooked the Turkey meal yesterday and packaged it up to reheat there. 2. Saw part of the Parade on reruns, later in the PM. Boring. 3. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potato, butternut squash, sweet potato – love it all. This year, due to low turnout, I skipped the fennel and mushooms in bechamel and the rutabaga. I also had a store bought pie, ugh. 4. No movie, NO football. We took a nice walk on the beach. 5. Holiday decor…bah humbug. Leon might do some lights. 5. Thankful for our health, for having a house that didn’t get washed away, for being able to pay the bills and still have money to eat.
