Only one problem with your plan. If the power fails which is probable, elevators stop working. I doubt you’ll find a pizza delivery guy willing to hike 10 stories.

I already have a Plan B. I’ll throw a rope and basket over the balcony rail, and the pizza man can just use that.

Hurricane:
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice

Maybe I shouldn’t have been so flippant, Cubby. When I saw the news last night, and again this morning, it’s clear that the potential for major destruction is higher than I’d realised. My thoughts are with you and all the area’s inhabitants.

It’s quite alright Ray. The TV people here are completely freaking out. All schools are closed. All public transportation is suspended. My employer cancelled work for the day (as of 5:30 last night so I had plenty of notice). And the storm is still hundreds of miles away.

That’s the same Hurricane Preparedness List we had in Miami and it never failed. [Although we used Mike's Pizza]

I like the prep and wish you luck in riding out the storm. Maybe if you let down the rope and basket for the pizza boy, he’ll get in it himself, with the pizza of course. So you’ll have a pizza boy in your basket….kinda fun I’d have thought!

Thanks Erik. I use a plugin called WPTouch Pro for my mobile interface on Patently Queer. There was an update available that I didn’t know about, so I just applied it. I hope that fixes the problem.

I don’t have a smart phone, so I cannot test it. However, our new iPhones that have been on backorder for a month have finally shipped and we should be all set up with them by the end of the week.
