Longtime readers know how much I love and adore older men. I always have. When I was a teen I lusted after 40-somethings. Now that I’m in my 40s I lust after the 70+ crowd.
When we moved to metro DC last summer it didn’t take long before I found a local old man to lust after daily. He’s one of the newscasters on the NBC affiliate here.
You all might think I’m nuts, but the fact is, I think this guy is smoking HOT.
These pics are okay, but he’s so much hotter on live on TV.

Sorry, Cubby. I just don’t see the appeal!
Buddy, I think you and I are at opposite ends on this. You like the 20-somethings, while I like their grandfathers
Jim Vance? Really? He’s pretty vanilla – no personality. And that stupid earring. I’m not judging but I don’t understand.
I’m with you, Cubby: older men are hot, hot hot!
I don’t know who he is but…I’d do him.
I am on your side, Cubby – he’s a handsome fellow.
jim vance is always articulate, well spoken, quiet; he never did seem to be as hyper as some DC tv broadcasters.
yes, he HAS been on the air over 25 years; I remember his newscasts well. my tv news choices were always 9, 4, 7 (in that order).
smooches!
I see I’ve got four years to go then! (Well, plus a few days)
Unsurprisingly, I don’t know this particular chap – but I certainly would NOT kick him out of bed. The second photo above is particularly good.
I think I’m a ‘daddy’ who likes ‘daddies’ – but I can slaver over all other ages too, though with anything too obviously at the lower end, the alarm bells start ringing and any interest flags, if there was some there in the first place.
You are fortunate in your tastes, Cubby. When I was around 20 I wouldn’t consider even looking at any man above about 30. When I was 30, my limit was around 40 – and so on it carried. Until, when I got to about 50 it struck me, being by then on the receiving end of more rejections than active interest, the experience opened my eyes – and since then I’ve been acutely aware of how unfair my early refusals had been when I had the luxury of having looks which others, by their interest, had indicated were ‘approachable’.
Now I wish there were more people like you, Cubby. This posting gives me hope that there might be enough around who are of your mind.
He’s not my cup of tea, but then i have always preferred men my own age.
Maybe when I’m seventy I’ll look back on this post and see the appeal, but, as they say, “different strokes….”
he is hot
You disgusting pervert! Welcome to the club.
I can see the appeal, he has that sort of face that seems warm, welcoming, trustworthy and you just can tell by the twinkle in his eye that he’s an animal in the sack!
The biggest age difference I’ve had between me and a partner was 32 years, that was when I was 20 and we stayed together for about a year an half.
