Question: What would the GOP delegates shout if Jesus addressed the Republican Convention this week?
It’s ironic how a political party packed with folks proclaiming to be christian is one of the most un-christian groups in existence.

Republicans would call for his death if he dared say this at the GOP convention.

On our latest news here, I see that hurricane ‘Isaac’, which has been, and is, causing havoc in Haiti and Cuba, is expected to turn Florida-wards in the coming hours.
I suppose that if it disrupts the early stages of the Republican Party convention there, as is quite possible, it will be seen as an expression of God’s displeasure, not at that Party itself, but because the party isn’t anti-gay/abortion/public health care ENOUGH! We have such religious folk in this country too – so close to God’s mind they can twist every occasion and natural disaster to fit the belief-agenda that they themselves hold. Trouble is, so many people actually refuse to countenance the possibility that they just could be mistaken – and that’s what makes me want to tear my remaining hair out.
I think the word “Liar” has been used before by the GOP.
you hit the nail!
didja see the GOP has postponed tomorrow’s evens in light of the tropical storm…whatsa matter GOP…you already think you can walk on water, let’s see ya do it!
In “Saint Joan” the play by GBS, in the epilogue she asks to come back and is told people would burn her again; indeed.
The GOP are like the Sanhedrin or Pharisees.

I love the Brick Testament site. It illustrates it rather marvelously.
